Photography
Photography is one of my passions.
Most of my photos are taken when I’m out walking the dog and Tim is often the subject of the photos.
My equipment is very basic: a Casio Exilim EX-Z750 digital ultra-compact camera and a Gorillapod – and that’s about it. I love the Exilim, though. Despite it’s diminutive size it has manual exposure controls, shutter priorty and many other features that allow creativity. Or it can be used a simple point and shoot camera if you wish. One great feature is an infinity focus setting. This is perfect for taking photos of the dog running because there is no delay at all between pressing the shutter button and the shot being taken – there’s no lag while the camera tries to focus.
In the old days I used to use an Olympus OM1 manual SLR and an Olympus XA rangefinder camera. I especially loved the little XA. Although when I compare it now to the Exilim it looks huge!
Anyway, this is a collection of some of my favourite photos at the moment (click the photo to see a larger version).
