Driving
Driving is another of my passions. Kind of seems a strange passion to have, but there it is.
In 198? I passed the Advanced Test with the Institute of Advanced Motorists and went on to become an Observer with the Bath and District Group IAM. I also served for a few years as Events Secretary for Bath IAM.
In 1992 I passed the RoSPA Advanced Drivers test at Gold Level and have taken a refresher test every three years since.
I always harboured an ambition to make use of my driving skills and in 2007 an opportunity came along when I noticed that a local chauffeur company needed drivers. I made contact and have been driving their fleet of executive Mercedes on a part-time basis ever since.
